Meet the New and Improved 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

2019 Chevy Silverado 1500

America loves full size trucks and that love has given rise to a recent surge of innovation of the platform. Leading that charge is the new stronger, lighter, most advanced Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ever. This new model is built upon the foundation of Chevrolet’s century of truck design know-how and takes the best of the best of what makes Silverado stand out from the rest.

With eight trim choices available, the new and improved 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is configurable to take on any task you have for it. The bed has been designed with 20% more cargo volume than the competition thanks to a Best in Class bed width. Take the load with you in confidence with any of the four powerful engine choices topped off by a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine on a 4WD platform that can supply 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Advanced technology backs up advanced engineering. Standard safety features like the rear vision camera make a big difference when there is a view obstructing load. Enjoy the ride like never before with entertainment features controlled on the 8-inch-diagonal digital driver information center. The available Bose® seven-speaker Premium Sound System is the perfect way to enjoy any media streamed from your connected device or SiriusXM® Radio.

2019 Chevrolet Colorado

While there aren’t too many changes to the Colorado this year, one thrilling update is the addition of a rugged model called the ZR2 Bison. It adds some impressive off-road equipment to the already impressive ZR2 model. This includes additional skid plates, steel bumpers, unique wheels, and interior details.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The Silverado 1500 is completely redesigned this year to be stronger, more advanced, and more capable than ever. It adds two new engine options this year for a total of six, including a turbocharged four-cylinder and a turbodiesel (later in the model year). Just like before, it is available in a range of trim options including the luxury-oriented High Country model and the off-road focused Trail Boss.

One of the most versatile updates to the Silverado 1500 is the new Durabed. It comes standard on all models. The dimensions of all bed sizes have been reconfigured to offer class-leading cargo volume at all sizes. In addition, every bed comes standard with 12 tie-down that are each rated for up to 500 pounds.

Updates for the 2019 Camaro

2019 Chevrolet Camaro

The Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most thrilling cars on the road. It is moving into a modern era with some fun new updates for the 2019 Camaro. Chevrolet showed off these updates at the SEMA show held recently in Las Vegas.

One of the first things you will notice about the show car is its bold yellow exterior color, called Shock. The model also showcased some new accessories and performance parts that will be available through Chevrolet dealers nationwide.

“There’s a fresh look for the 2019 Camaro, which is restyled, reinvigorated and offers more choices and new technologies,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet Car and Crossover Marketing. “It’s the perfect canvas for personalization, and the new Shock color and available accessories demonstrate only some of the possibilities customers have to make the Camaro entirely theirs.”

Some of the new available accessories and parts include features like a black wing spoiler, RECARO® performance seats, 50-state-legal cold-air induction kits, carbon fiber accent accessories, Brembo® brake upgrades, and suspension components.

In addition to the new customization options, there are other updates for the 2019 Camaro. These include new wheel designs, new technology, a new 10-speed transmission on the Camaro SS, and newly available safety features.

We can’t wait to see the new 2019 Camaro in Shock color at Copeland Chevrolet. Stay tuned for all the latest news!

COPO Chevrolet Camaro Buyers Selected

Chevrolet Camaro Bowtie

The COPO Chevrolet Camaro is the most exclusive muscle car of the year with less than 70 examples leaving the production facility. The hand-crafted model carries all the sportiness that drivers love, along with custom paintjobs sourced from the buyers themselves. This year, 29 of 69 COPO Camaros will be Hot Wheels edition models.

The limited COPO Camaro features an engine that generates enough power to launch the muscle car an entire quarter mile in just 8.6 seconds. That kind of power doesn’t come unchecked though.

“It is fast,” said Curt Collins, Chevrolet Performance, COPO, and Performance Parts Licensing manager. “In fact, the National Hot Rod Association requires them to have a parachute for safety. But the car will not leave the factory until they’re ready to go race.”

Hopeful buyers will have to put their names into a random drawing and hope they’re one of the lucky few. Around 16,000 people enter for the chance to buy a COPO Camaro every year.

The COPO Camaro is entirely handcrafted by 20 people. Each car takes about 15 days to build. It weighs 100 lb less than a typical Camaro thanks to the removal of some unnecessary brackets and braces. Customers can get the paint color they want.

The Hot Wheels edition model offers more exclusivity. The model comes with Hot Wheels badging on the fenders and steering wheel, graphics on the rear quarter panel, and “Hot Wheels” emblazoned on the door sill.

If you happen to be one of the lucky few to get your hands on a COPO Chevrolet Camaro, make sure to come to Copeland Chevrolet to show it off!
